Yeah, I got my blog back!

finally, I got my blog back. It got taken down for a while, not sure why. But it's back now. All is good.

Chilly Weather

It has been VERY cold up here in da U.P. -0F for about a week now. I took a couple of pics of Nicole braving the weather while she was shoveling the driveway the other day. I could just hear the words coming out of the passers by when they say me taking pics of her. "Hey look at that guy taking pics of his wife shovel!" I was just on my way out of town to go down to Escanaba for Chamber of Commerce and Homebrew club meetings or else I would have helped, I swear. Hopefully this cold ends soon, out heat billed doubled this month and it has only seemed to get colder. Yikes.

Our 5 mile route

Nicole, Dawn, Igor, and decided that we are going to start training to do two half marathons this year. We will be doing one in March and on in October on Mackinac Island. We are following a program that has us working out everyday except for Fridays and on Sunday we do a "longer" run. I just mapped out a 5 mile run for our weekend run in two weeks.

1st Birthday Part 2

Bella's 1st Birthday Party

We decided to celebrate Bella's 1st birthday party a week early so we could have a collaboration party with the twins, Reese & Riley. It looked more like Christmas with all of the presents being thrown around. The girls weren't shy when it came time for the awesome cake that Nicole made. She constructed a pink castle for the little princess' and it turned out really cool. On a side note, the Packers lost. We waited until 4PM to have the party as to not subtract any smiles from the occasion.

Halloween!

I ended up having to work on Halloween but Nicole, Dani, Dawn, & Igor took the kids out and they scored all kinds of candy. Bella was a Duck and Brice was a cowboy.

Back to the Corn Maze

We ended up going back to the Haze Corn Maze again because Nicole's work was having a get together there. It was dark and gloomy and we ended up getting soaked but it was still a great time. There was plenty of food to be had and the kids had a blast...again.
